Top Community Development Executive leads and plans all aspects of an organization's economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Develops and maintains relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify business development opportunities. Being a Top Community Development Executive establishes the policies guiding the community development strategy and ensures the organization's compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Contributes to marketing efforts to foster company visibility and awareness of projects or initiatives. Additionally, Top Community Development Executive monitors ongoing initiatives to evaluate progress and efforts. Researches and evaluates current and future community needs to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. · Responsible for supervision of children and implementing a program of activities that promotes the social, emotional and physical development of each child.
· Implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum
· Maintains a safe, clean, and organized classroom
· Builds positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
· Performs other duties as required or assigned
Conditions for Employment:
· This position is subject to satisfactory clearance of all background checks The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Office of Childcare (OCC) clearance.
Qualifications:
· High school Diploma or GED
· Minimum 1 year teaching experience.
· Must demonstrate experience and interest in working with young children, parents, and volunteers
· Must demonstrate success in working as a member of a team
· Must be willing to work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of the program
· Must meet the Maryland State Department of Education-Office of Childcare (MSDE-OCC) qualifications.
· CDA Preschool or
· 90 Hour Certificate in Preschool or
· AA or BA in Early Childhood Education
· Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA 3 Hour Training)
· Basic Health & Safety Training
· 9 Hour Communication Training
· COVID 19 Training
