Responsible for overseeing community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of health. Being a Top Community Health Executive determines community health initiatives to pursue and directs best practices implementation. Participates in and approves grant proposals and monitors overall use of grant funds. Additionally, Top Community Health Executive oversees all community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation. Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing
· Ongoing participation in Allen Parish Home Health in-service training
Job Knowledge:
· 1 year experience in home care is preferred.
· 2 years’ experience in Med-Surg is preferred. (if none, will provide training with LPN or RN)
License:
· RN license in state of LA is required
· Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance is required
· CPR/BLS certification is required

Pay: $27.86 - $41.80 per hour
