POSITION SUMMARY:
The dietitian works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team within the clinical and community setting to promote healthy lifestyles with children and families and provide prevention and treatment efforts for patients with weight-related health concerns, including obesity. The dietitian acts within the scope of practice and provides patient interventions and community programming that meet the high standards of care provided by JHACH. This position will be involved in clinical care in the Healthy Steps Clinic and will also have responsibilities in the development of community programs targeting vulnerable populations such as patients with food insecurity or other unmet social needs. A strong career interest in health equity and pediatric obesity is preferred.
