Job Overview
We are in search of an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Operations to lead our daily administrative and operational functions. In this critical position, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless and effective operation of our organization, aligning with our strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct a diverse workforce, including warehouse staff, project managers, estimators, operations coordinators, and office personnel, to achieve success for both internal and external clients.
- Team Management: Guide the Director of Operations in overseeing acquisitions, property management, and real estate sales, ensuring that these divisions meet and surpass their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while nurturing a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Engage actively in the Steering Committee, contributing to annual strategic planning and ensuring that immediate goals support our long-term vision.
- Financial Oversight: Work closely with the CFO and Controller to monitor financial performance metrics, ensuring production and operational objectives are met.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the technology team to enhance information systems utilization and partner with the marketing team to track marketing initiatives and budgets effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for productivity enhancements through initiatives such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, while leading recruitment, training, and development for the operations team.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates and insights regarding operational performance to the senior leadership team and coordinate cross-functional support for effortless operations.

- Over 15 years of experience in leading complex operations, ideally within the construction and real estate sectors.
- Proven history of managing teams and enhancing operational processes with strong financial insight.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, exemplifying integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and capacity to quickly learn and educate others on relevant software platforms.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Demonstrated capacity to excel in high-pressure settings, with 5-10 years of supervisory experience in operations.
