Position Description:
-
The VP of Corporate Security will establish and manage multiple cage codes across the United States and will have knowledge of corporate security structures and management of support security staff including branch Facility Security Officers
-
Will have past performance establishing cage codes and Facility Clearances in addition to experience with the processes within the National Industrial Security System to transition and appoint FSOs
-
Understand the processes to sponsor subcontract partners and will be effective communicating with NSWC Crane management, TRISTAR Senior Leadership, and subcontract partners

Knowledge of effective management strategies

Must have the ability to interface with TRISTAR Senior Leadership and staff to provide customers with security Subject Matter Expert knowledge and experience
Position Responsibilities:
-
Responsible for managing the security program and personnel supporting multiple DoD contracts across the United States and OCONUS
-
Understanding of the deployment process for cleared DoD contractors supporting classified contracts CONUS and OCONUS
-
Understanding of physical security including the management of COMSEC and TS/SCI level information and material
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for Corporate Leadership and customers on all items relating to security
-
Collaborate with Corporate Leadership and customers to build expert consensus regarding areas requiring process improvement and recommended solutions for identified areas requiring improvement

Develop innovative approaches for managing continuous stream of work with the ability to manage changing priorities and implement innovative ideas to improve customer program operations in terms of cost, quality, efficiency and/or overall performance

Develop a performance measurements framework and facilitate a feedback system focused on customer service, communication, and technical skills

Develop information for decision briefs for Senior Leadership to use in making decisions on recommended solutions and areas requiring process improvement within the program, process, and execution

Establish strong relationships with key government stakeholders and create convergence by demonstrating credibility, empathy, and expertise on security issues

Develop workload schedules for security support staff

Coordinates with all Corporate Departments for support as need to meet contract security requirements

Must work in coordination with all Corporate Departments as it pertains to any issues with the security program

Monitors and oversees workload schedules on physical security projects
Position Requirements:
-
Experience as an FSO in support of Navy Seaport and DTIC IAC MAC contracts
-
Experience as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official and the Controlled Unclassified Information Program Manager supporting classified contracts for a cleared DoD Contractor

Understanding of and the ability to provide compliance with the NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117
-
Understanding of Risk Management for DoD Security Programs

Ability to interpret DD Form 254s and to properly draft subcontractor DD Form 254s for subcontract partners
-
Experience performing supervisory functions such as time approvals for charging; expense reports, and travel plans; employee performance coaching and feedback; salary administration; and staffing functions

Ability to prepare and conduct security training presentations and briefings

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Ability to interact daily with TRISTAR staff and provide security support and guidance where and when necessary
-
Must be able manage a diverse team of personnel, management, business customers, and vendors in a constructive and effective manner

Project and workflow management skills

MUST be a US Citizen

Must possess active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
-
Must reside in proximity of TRISTAR Corporate offices in Bloomington, Indiana and NSWC Crane, Indiana and be able to be at either location within one hour
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Previous experience working as a DoD contractor in classified environments up to the TS/SCI level in both Government and Industrial Security environments
-
Previous experience and expertise managing an Industrial Security Program and have achieved Superior ratings from the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) on past facility security program audits
-
10 years working in Government and/or Industrial Security
-
6 years managing classified security programs
Education and Certifications:
-
BA or BS degree or a combination of education and experience working in an Industrial Security field
-
Center for Development of Security Excellence Certificate for FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities
-
Certifications in Security and/or Executive Leadership
