Top Credit Executive leads the overall credit function. Responsible for creating and implementing policies regarding the review of customers credit history and the granting and/or extension of credit lines. Being a Top Credit Executive ensures that research of credit worthiness is effective and complies with all applicable laws and regulations. May lead a loan review or other internal committee that has oversight on credit policy. Additionally, Top Credit Executive may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Credit Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Reports to: Consumer Lending Credit Analyst Officer
Primary Functions: Underwrite consumer loan requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: N/A
Experience/Skills: One-year experience with this credit union in a problem-solving capacity, or underwriting consumer loans, which routinely calls for independent decision making in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Must have knowledge of all consumer lending regulations. Must have ability to adapt to a variety of situations, processing a high volume of work with attention to detail. Must have ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically.
Tenure: Consumer Lending Credit Analyst I, II, III and Senior, Category 12, 11, 10 and 9, respectively, requires meeting proven acceptable performance standards as established by management. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
Consumer Lending Credit Analyst Trainee (Category 13)
Salary Pay Range: $44,803 - $66,309 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
