This permanent position is for a Controller who will work in the Statesville, North Carolina region.What you get to do every single day- Manage monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, the reconciliations of accounts, and G/L analysis- Present executive committee and partners with monthly financial reports- Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash- Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities- Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies- Work closely with executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective firm-wide operation- Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required- Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual- Ensure deliverables of self and team meet client expectations
