The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college/university pursuing an Engineering degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The incumbent should have a strong motivation to build their career in their field of study.

This full-time, paid Internship will begin in May/June 2025. Start/end dates are flexible to meet school schedule.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

• Process constraint analysis of fruit processing and packaging systems
• Process control and optimization of fruit processing and packaging systems
• Project planning - design, scope, budget, and schedule
• Project execution - procurement, installation, start-up and commissioning
• Fundamentals of Engineering - Equipment design and evaluation, plant layout, drawing development, process design review
• Gain a better understanding of pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, filters, clarifiers, evaporators, boilers, air compressors, refrigeration, packaging equipment, electrical components, instrumentation and controls
• Exposure to manufacturing, quality and food safety aspects of industry
