Top Division Human Resources Executive plans and directs human resources policies, objectives, and initiatives for a division or region within an organization. Implements end-to-end human resources function to deliver talent acquisition, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and employee support services. Being a Top Division Human Resources Executive partners with leadership across the organization to provide human resources programs aligned with the organization's operational objectives, mission, and values. Builds and develops the teams and technology resources to facilitate regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, transaction processing, and analysis of workforce metrics. Additionally, Top Division Human Resources Executive identifies and explores trends in human resources to enhance the employee experience, meet evolving organizational needs and create innovative programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Division Human Resources Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Education, Skills and ExperienceA minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required with an emphasis in human resources management and/or organizational development; minimum of 5 or more years of related work experience; knowledgeable of principles and procedures of personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations, federal and state (CA) labor regulations and code, and personnel information systems; must be fluent in the English language, and be able to professionally communicate with all peers, clientele, and the general public; knowledgeable of sales management, making effective sales presentations; possess effective sales closing skills; and be able to establish and maintain interpersonal and business client relationships.
Essential FunctionsService and maintain customers that you have been assigned and/or established an agreement of services with; serve the customer in the capacity of an “outsourced” HR consultant while staying within the scope and sequence of outsource HR services agreed to by the HRC and the customer; provide effective and professional HR coaching and consultation to the customer on HR-related management and organizational policies, procedures, general business operations, and matters including, but not limited to, employee benefits and compensation, health and safety, employment and staffing, general labor and employee relations, training and development, and any other related HR matters.
Progressively develop a book of business that involves regular lead generation, phone outs to leads, referrals and prospects; schedule appointments/meetings with prospective clientele; provide professional presentations to prospective clients - focusing on customer need and fit of available services; maintain a calendar and schedule daily phone calls to maintain contact with, current clients, leads and prospects; explain thoroughly and professionally with the customer our contractual agreements and policies, products, services, processes and strategic benefits of outsourcing HR services.
