The Executive Director, Manufacturing Quality, reports to the Vice President, Manufacturing, and has Business wide responsibility for all aspects of cost of poor quality, both internally and externally for all GE Appliances manufacturing sites and Mabe affiliates. Ensures that GE Appliances meet and exceed owners’ expectations for quality, delivering a world class ownership experience. Owns strategy and execution for quality, including reducing the total cost of poor-quality spend for the business, execution of new product introductions (NPI) with quality, quality systems and certifications (ISO9001), and quality productivity in all North American plant operations. Position Executive Director, Manufacturing Quality Location USA, Louisville, KY How You'll Create Possibilities Develop and execute strategies to drive GE Appliances quality to world class levels in support of businesses’ long-term goals and objectives. Own and refine the GE Appliances quality management system to support business quality objectives. Develop best practices and standardization for quality across all GE manufacturing facilities and Mabe affiliates. Develop strong relationships across all functions and product lines to facilitate and deliver world class product quality. Utilize business level goals and objectives to identify quality improvement strategies and opportunities. Foster and grow a culture of quality for GE Appliances across all functions, product lines, and brands. Identify and leverage technology to improve quality and efficiency in manufacturing operations. Recruit and develop a world class, inclusive, and diverse quality team capable of solving the businesses’ toughest quality challenges. What You'll Bring to Our Team REQUIRED/MINIMUM: Minimum 15 years of appliance supply chain experience with experience in multiple supply chain functions such as Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Distribution Significant quality leadership experience – 10 years of practicing & demonstrating competency in applying operation quality concepts. Bachelor’s degree in engineering Strong business acumen with emphasis on analytical skills and problem solving Supply Chain leadership experience with direct reports Outstanding analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail especially with high level strategic problems Ability to work in a matrixed organization and influence outcomes Self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
