To conduct research projects utilizing clinical skills specifically, creating/implementing recruitment and retention plans as well as ensuring data capture and study reports for onsite and community based projects. Essential Functions: Facilitate the recruitment of research participants subjects in on-going and future research projects. This includes developing and implementing of research recruitment strategy plans, data capture, data entry and source data forms creation. Preparation of study reports based on recruitment and study conduct. Enroll potential subjects and conduct study procedures per study protocol utilizing clinical skills and knowledge for all assigned research projects. Collaborate with internal and external partners to set up partnerships for study recruitment and conduct in on site/community based research. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree Nursing Degree required. Experience: Expert (established subject matter expert, 7 years’ experience) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technology Skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Wayne State University Academica programs. REDCap, Medical Record Systems. Ability to conduct blood pressure assessments, blood draws, Electrocardiograms (EKG’s), discuss disease process and current medication.
