ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

REPORTS TO:  VP of Sales

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

• Generates and develops new business to meet specified sales goals
• Maintains and nurtures new client and prospect relationships
• Functions as liaison between client/prospect companies and operations staff
• Negotiates contracts and work agreements
• Generates weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, tracking work as specified by manager
• Maintain all prospecting, sales, and account activities in salesforce
• Participates in important business/trade events that impact business unit
• Possesses thorough knowledge of tax and financial services industry as well as the solution that serve that market
• Possesses thorough knowledge of local competition, and knowledge of prevalent industry and business climate within the region
• Possesses excellent organizational, problem resolution, consultative sales, verbal and written communication skills
• Promotes company endorsed programs and services within assigned territory

EXPERIENCE / FORMAL TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent
• Minimum of five years sales “hunting” experience
• Minimum of three years experience selling data or SaaS solutions
• Minimum experience of three years selling to customers with $50M in revenue
• Experience in and understanding of the financial services industry
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels
