- Preparing financial and statistical reports as required by the state of Indiana; preparing the annual treasurer’s report for the fiscal school year ending June 30, and forwarding the report to the business office; Familiar with the requirements of the State Board of Accounts
- Reviews and initiates correspondence relative to the extra-curricular account, payment of extra-curricular bills, and other issues as assigned by the high school principal. Insures that all individuals who have authority to make purchases from the extra-curricular account follow established procedures relative to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, claim forms,
- Advises the high school principal on the daily condition of expenditure accounts, receipt accounts, and investments. Assists the principal, department heads, and extra-curricular sponsors in creating a budget for the upcoming budget year.
- Supervises the checking of information and data for accuracy, completeness, and the correction and completion thereof when necessary; Provides information relative to account status per requests of the principal, department heads, extra-curricular sponsors, and so forth
- Creates reports at the request of the principal. Coordinates, processes, and controls transfers of budgeted funds as requested by the principal. Coordinates monthly and quarterly monitoring & bi-annual audits by the State Board of Accounts
- Assists two hours per day or as needed with general office duties that shall include but not be limited to attendance work, answering telephones, typing/filing, and greeting and directing visitors; fills in for absent secretaries at the middle school and high school offices
