Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive develops, directs, and promotes the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Designs and develops programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and to establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive ensures that policies reflect domestic and international legal requirements and industry-specific codes governing ethical standards and comply with transparency reporting requirements. Communicates the organization's ethical standards with messaging and deliver employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive monitors compliance with policies and investigates and remediates any non-compliant actions. Responsible for maintaining confidential reporting systems allowing employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. May require the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)certification. Typically reports to top management. The Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Location: WPHD DV/SA Office, Winnebago Comprehensive Health Care System, Winnebago NE.   

     Job Purpose & Position Overview 
    The Domestic Violence Advocacy Program is a Human Services program of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska whose focus is services to victims of domestic violence. Victims include Women, men, children, elders and the family. The Domestic Violence Advocate provides supportive services to survivors of domestic violence and their dependents to address issues including: housing, benefits, employment, childcare, medical and dental care, education, legal, mental health and substance abuse. The Domestic Violence Advocate also provides case management and advocacy services. These services are provided to residents of the shelter, and to non-resident clients of the program. The Domestic Violence Advocate facilitates the shelter residents’ meetings and support groups, performs required reporting and documentation. The Domestic Violence Advocate will provide awareness education on domestic violence issues and the Domestic Violence Intervention/Family Preservation program where needed. This position will be an overnight shift at the Domestic Violence shelter. 
     
    Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities: 
    • Demonstrates the Winnebago Tribe’s core mission, vision, and values. 
    • Provide on-call emergency services to victims of Domestic Violence, including but not limited to; transportation to shelter, hospital and place of safety, law enforcement, support during medical exams and other interviews. 
    • Complete client intake forms. 
    • Assist clients in developing a safety plan. 
    • Develop a service plan with each client, based on his or her individual needs. 
    • Provide case management and advocacy services for clients. 
    • Document in case file any contact made regarding a client. 
    • Establish a training calendar for shelter residents. 
    • Attend program staff meetings as assigned. 
    • Develop and deliver public awareness materials and public education on Domestic Violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking through meetings, and activities in the community. 
    • Create and facilitate training for community awareness. 
    • Serve as liaison between shelter and community. 
    • Schedule regular public speaking engagements that support the movement to end violence against women. 
    • Represent the program on work groups, community groups and others as directed. 
    • Attend training as directed by supervisor.

    Required Qualifications/Skills: 
    • AA Degree and/or formal training specializing in Domestic Violence or Human Services field. 
    • Two (2) years’ work experience in Domestic Violence or other Human Services field. 
    • Two (2) years’ experience working with Winnebago Tribal members or other Native Americans. 
    • Excellent communication skills. 
    • Computer skills relevant to research, presentations, and report writing. 
    • Strong inner-personal skills. 
    • Ability to work as a team member. 
    • Excellent organizational skills. 
    • Experience in providing training, public education, and/or awareness activities to the public. 
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet driver’s eligibility guidelines. 
    • Must have valid personal vehicle insurance or be insurable by the tribe. 
    Training Requirements: 
    • As Directed by management 
     Physical Requirements: 
    • Light office work, which includes the ability to lift up to 10 lbs. 
    • Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, phone, and various office equipment. 
    • While performing daily duties, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. 
    • Ability to work outside in weather extremes.

     Language Requirements: 
    • Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
