The Community Operations Liaison is responsible for assisting with resolving disputes and disagreements between residents and negotiating a positive resolution on behalf of the residents and the Association, in accordance with the community rules and regulations. This position will assist with estoppel inspections by gathering photographs, completing reports and forms, and providing follow-up to ensure properties are brought into HOA compliance to provide residents a community that they are proud to call home.
Responsibilities:

Investigates Community Rules, Standards, and Regulations violations and provides photographs and proper documentation of those not in compliance with standards

Addresses violations with homeowners via door knocks, phone calls, or door hangars
-
Works closely with the enforcement team to formally notify residents who are not in compliance with the Community Rules, Standards, and Regulations and provides follow-up to confirm all matters have been cured, with the goal of resolving matters amicably without moving to the legal process

Remains alert to possible compliance issues while in the community and investigates them thoroughly, taking steps to bring into compliance as necessary

Maintains records of actions, observations, and results and retrieves the information as needed

Inspects all completed modification requests to verify installation is in compliance with the approved resident request

Inspects all denied modification requests to verify installation did not occur without prior approval

Assists with estoppel inspection photography, reports and forms

Completes estoppel follow-up inspections in a timely manner and takes the necessary corrective action to achieve compliance

Meets with all parties involved in the enforcement and estoppel process to discuss findings and possible corrective measures as required

Resolves neighbor conflicts within the community

Supports Resident Services and Warranty departmental projects and other tasks as needed

Lends assistance and instruction in disaster preparedness and recovery

Provides educational opportunities in compliance, safety and security for residents

Maintains a close working relationship with community residents, General Manager Executive Assistant., Resident Service Associates and Supervisors, and the Community Orientation/Interview Department

Performs all duties in adherence to OTOW standards
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
-
5 years in a business related field preferred

Photography experience preferred
Skills and Knowledge:

Must be able to read, write and understand English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong reading comprehension skills with the ability to read, understand and apply rules and regulations, declarations, and community standards to make practical application in the field

Microsoft Office skills required

Strong time management and public relations skills
- Must be approved by insurance to operate company motor vehicle

Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all Community Rules, Standards, Regulations and other governing documents
