We're in search of a Director of Operations who will oversee a fast-growing Austin Texas based CPG brand. This person has oversight of operations and personnel across production, purchasing, warehouse, and shipping. As the organization dramatically scales, the Director of Operations will ensure we have efficient systems, processes, and staffing to support our rapid growth.

This person must lead with humility, be helpful, and possess strong organizational skills. They will take an empowering, people-centric approach to managing teams and will partner cross-functionally to identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement systems for accountability, development, and recognition.

While this is a confidential search, we will ensure that you have an in-depth tour of our office/warehouse and have an opportunity to speak with key leadership team members regarding the position. Our compensation range for this role is $115K - $135K annual salary which is based on several factors including experience, education and industry credentials.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations to meet organizational objectives.
• Actively monitor KPIs to proactively identify and address gaps.
• Ensure processes and training are compliant with regulations.
• Design processes to improve productivity through positive employee engagement.
• Actively participate in Sales calls and site tours to drive revenue growth.
• Ensure leaders effectively coach, develop, document, and monitor employee performance.
• Collaborate with internal support teams and customers to drive improvements.
• Coach team to achieve optimal facility layouts based on data (e.g., item dimensions and velocity).
• Leverage data analytics and automation tools to optimize workflows and decision-making processes.
• Monitor and optimize the operating budget, including expenses for labor, equipment, and supplies.
• Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a culture of safety, respect, accountability, and innovation.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, responsive to email and phone calls.
• Highly experienced in DTC ecommerce, wholesale and retail fulfillment operations.
• Accomplished leader in managing production / In house manufacturing teams and process.
• Strong domestic and international transportation experience.
• Willingness to learn and be innovative to explore new strategies.
• Skilled and trained in Continuous Improvement and Problem-solving techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management principles, and distribution operations.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., OSHA).

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 10 years of experience in warehouse, production and logistics operations, with a track record of success in leadership roles.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
