The Teacher Assistant is responsible to assist the Head Start Center/Combo Manager with all aspects of the classroom.
Minimum current Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) required. Prefer Early Childhood work experience. Current First Aid/CPR certification or willing to obtain. Must complete a minimum of 3 Early Childhood credits every 3 years. Background study required. High School graduate or GED and minimum 18 years of age. Regularly lifts 50 lbs., and occasionally more, and are able to kneel, bend, stoop, and sit on floor to attend to the children’s needs.
