LNK International, an OTC pharmaceutical manufacturer in Hauppauge, Long Island, NY, seeks a Departmental Administrative and Executive Assistant to join our fast-paced team.

The Departmental Administrative & Executive Assistant position is an exciting opportunity to join LNK International's quickly growing team in Hauppauge, NY. This is a career position for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant passionate about learning and intrigued by engineering and the pharmaceutical industry. We are looking for a candidate who will be a long-term team member and become an integral part of a strong technical team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Director of Engineering with other operation-related tasks
• The ability to handle multiple complex projects and operational tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Interact and coordinate projects with customers and outside vendors.
• Manage and organize the teams' schedules.
• Monitor deadlines for departmental projects
• Intake of departmental requests, forward them to responsible staff, and ensure timely completion.
• Create purchase orders and submit invoices for processing to Accounts Payable
• Track purchase orders for projects
• Schedule service visits and onsite training with vendors
• Request and distribute sample products to vendors when needed.
• Coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
• Attend meetings and relay information back to team members.
• Create change controls for packaging equipment.
• Keep records of past project
• Direct incoming calls
• Special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience

• An Associate's Degree or equivalent related working experience or courses (High school degree with: business, bookkeeping, and typing courses)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional office environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated, and possess excellent interpersonal skills
