About the Position

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The CNC Programmer is responsible for programming multiple types of CNC machines, including 3/4 axis mills, horizontal lathes, VTL and HBM. Other duties in this role include generating setup sheets, managing tool lists and inventory, and generating shop routers. This position requires excellent time-management skills, critical thinking abilities and close attention to detail. The ideal candidate for this job is someone with an easygoing, positive attitude who is able to work independently but also willing to take direction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Accurately read and interpret drawings, sketches and other written instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Programming using Gibbscam; multiple CNC platforms
• Managing a tool inventory
• Generating shop routers
• Effectively communicate with engineering and others to problem solve.
• Some inspection of critical dimensions using standard metrology tools
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Work independently to manage time, schedule and prioritization with input from supervisor.
• Ask questions, clarify instructions and take constructive feedback in a professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years programming experience.
• Minimum of 5 years machining experience
• Gibbscam experience
• General knowledge of part fixturing and work holding
• Experience with HAAS and FANUC controlled machines
• ERP system experience is a plus

Details

• Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
• Pay: Competitive salary, dependent on experience and skill level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $83,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
