JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide technical support and perform service necessary to maintain compliance with Federal, State, Local, and DoD policies in the management of programs directly impacted by the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA). The candidate shall notify the ACOR or COR of major delays which are anticipated to greatly impact the installation's regulatory compliance with programs related to TSCA. Fort Knox must remain in compliance with Federal, State, Local, and DOD laws, regulations, and polices in managing Asbestos Containing Material (ACM), Lead-Based Paint (LBP), Fungi or Mold, and Radon protocols as governed by the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) and the Clean Air Act (CAA). Fort Knox is required to execute the Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint, Radon, and the Mold Management Plans which outline processes and procedures required of EPA, OSHA, and the State of Kentucky for the surveying, sampling, analyses and abatement of ACM, LBP, Mold and Radon.
