Therm, Incorporated a leader in providing innovative machining solutions to a global market, is currently seeking qualified individuals for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist position.

• FIRST Shift (8:00am - 4:30pm)
• Overtime as needed or as business necessitates.
• Starting wage dependent upon experience.

PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acting as a subject-matter expert on HSE topics including emergency preparedness, and safety risk.
• Maintain HSE compliance, reporting requirements, and managing the adoption of relevant policies and procedures.
• Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring.
• Lead safety committee.
• Trains employees on safety related topics.
• Responsible for all aspects of first aid.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• At all times, work to Therm, Incorporated Code of Ethics, Safety Standards and Quality Policies while performing operational functions.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must pass physical examination and drug test.
• Background check is also performed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or a high school diploma with at least 5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite-- Word & Excel.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
