GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE :
This position is responsible for applying knowledge of environmental health and safety practices and standards to develop programs and processes that support the execution of Loram's strategies, and to ensure compliance with regulatory and Loram standards and drive continuous improvement of EHS performance and results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : BS degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or Industrial Hygiene
Experience : 3 years of related safety experience. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental regulation knowledge and experience.
Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Licenses / Certifications : Obtain and Maintain railroad safety training and certifications
Or 7 years' experience combining knowledge of Occupational Safety, EHS, Industrial Hygiene, OSHA regulations, ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001, or FRA safety regulations in lieu of education.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Master's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or Industrial Hygiene
Experience : 3 years of related safety experience with application of OSHA and FRA regulations, application of ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 management systems, and environmental regulation knowledge and experience.
Licenses / Certifications : Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
