Local family owned company is looking for an outside sales representative for Light Industrial and Farm Equipment sales.
This is an outside sales position requiring daily driving. Must be self-motivated that can work independently with minimal supervision.
Exceptional customer service skills are required. Process and follow up on customer sales, provide direct sales and quotes, maintain general product knowledge.
Travel for product training is expected. Landscape, lawn and garden and farm equipment knowledge desired with New Holland, John Deere, and Kubota products a plus.
Basic computer skills required.
High School Diploma and a valid insurable drivers license are required. Benefits include base salary plus commission, health and vision insurance, profit sharing.
Salesperson Duties and Responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads via phone, email and onsite visits
Promote products / services to new and existing customers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new and existing customers
Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship
Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value
Prioritize and / or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction
Source and develop client referrals
Continuously improve through feedback
Salesperson Requirements and Qualifications
