Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Residential and Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. As a Residential Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our energy products (batteries, manufactured carports, solar modules, EV charging stations) and services to residential customers. Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with potential customers, providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Utilize your knowledge of solar energy systems to educate customers on the benefits and cost savings of going solar
- Generate leads and follow up on referrals to expand your customer base
- Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively presenting and negotiating sales proposals
- Utilize sales software to track customer interactions, manage leads, and monitor sales performance.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar customer-facing role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others towards achieving sales goals
- Knowledge of solar energy systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Proficiency in using sales software, such as Salesforce, is a plus
