Job Description:
Total compensation is based on experience and will take into consideration base rate, incentive plans, and company profitability pay outs per position.
The Financial Planning & Analyst is an analytical resource who works closely with departmental teams to maximize results and profitability. The Financial Planning & Analyst monitors and controls revenue and expenses. They will create recommendations based on their analysis of the raw data. Provides direction for the IT department to facilitate data integrity and security.
Provides periodic financial forecasts as needed and manages the annual budget process. Develop / prepare monthly management reporting and KPIs for the key areas of spend. Leverage information available through TMS, monthly forecasting, and other reporting platforms to provide real-time analytical and decision-making support to the organization. Provide problem-solving support to stakeholders in areas such as invoice processing, monthly accruals, budgetary decisions, etc.

Job Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities
- Process oriented, logical problem solver
- Excellent skills in MS Excel (If statements, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Basic financial understanding including budgeting, variance analysis, and financial
- Previous experience in strategic consulting or Business planning and control is a plus.
- Must have a strong knowledge of accounting and finance policies and procedures
- Strong business acumen with deep level of intellectual curiosity and target achievement orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels within organization along with external parties.
- Accuracy and attention to detail required in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis duties.
- Ability to analyze existing processes/ performance, identify issues and suggest opportunities for improvements and increased efficiencies.

- Knowledge, insight, and experience with financial analysis techniques and general understanding of accounting concepts
- Understanding of how to leverage a financial planning and analysis skillset to successfully partner with an operational business leader
- Ability to effectively develop management reporting and KPIs for operations focused areas of a business
- Capable of working independently and applying problem-solving and strong analytical skills to guide financial analysis and decision-making
- Ability to work in culturally diverse teams and balance multiple priorities

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises the IT department from an operational and strategic perspective.
- Supervise analytic team from an operational and strategic perspective.
- Provides guidance to other Leadership Team as members as needed.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- Minimum Eight to ten years of experience in financial management required.
