Summary/Objective:
The Billing Coordinator is responsible collections and items related to financials and patient responsibility. This is achieved by fielding inbound calls and making outbound follow up calls to current and past clients and their families.
Duties & Responsibilities:

· Data entry of all new collections, travel, other related expenses to client accounts
· Weekly / Monthly Reporting for all collections activities
· Attend and participate in meetings as needed
· Document and file client’s responsibility, promissory notes, etc.
· Field incoming billing calls in a timely manner and help clients / families come to resolutions with accounts
· Manage all billing/collections related activities within current systems provided
· Work with Admin team to ensure effective collection efforts for current clients without disrupting client treatment
· Input the Admissions Assessment in the CRM
· Keep proper financial records and obtain payment from clients and/or client families
· Uphold all TTD Management Group Policies and Procedures
· Maintain client/potential client confidentiality in accordance with TTD Policy
· HIPAA Required along with test questions
Supervisory Responsibility: None at this time

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Emergency Status:
This position has been determined to be essential for the continued operation of TTD business in the event of an emergency, including a mandatory evacuation of TTD properties. Personnel in this position must be able to remain available before and after such an emergency to ensure the safety of our clients.
Education/ Experience/Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
· Clinical Credentials preferred
· Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in collections services.
· If in recovery, two (2) years continuous sobriety preferred.
· Detailed knowledge of recovery-based programs, lectures, and the 12 step programming
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Knowledge, experience, and competence in the specific areas of adult treatment, adult co-morbid complications, and family systems theory.
· Must be computer literate and be familiar with most Microsoft products and network components.
· Good communication and teaching skills.
· Good writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent phone etiquette.
· Ability to operate standard office equipment.

· Attendance
· Amount of calls made / time spent on calls
· Appropriate CRM documentation
· Quality assurance
· Collections numbers on weekly / monthly basis
· Family, referral, and client satisfaction – documentation/interviews.
