Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Provides administrative support to assigned Executive Staff member(s) and Manager.

     

    1. Qualifications:

                A.        Education:

    High School graduate or equivalent.

                B.        Training and Experience:

    Computer knowledge and training required.Secretarial training in a Certified Business school and some office experience preferred. 

     

    C.        Job Knowledge:

                Knowledge of proper office procedures, rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.  Ability to type, familiarity with medical terminology and hospital policies and procedures.  Ability to answer correspondence and to communicate well with visitors and callers. Demonstrates strong organizational skills. Ability to make logical and rational decisions. An understanding of emergency protocols and safety guidelines. 

    1. Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

     

    A.        May encounter exposure to infectious diseases.

     

    B.        Ability to work under stress and in a high pressure environment.

     

    C.        The ability to work independently and multitask.

     

    D.        Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

     

    E.        Essential physical requirements include climbing, standing, stooping bending, extended periods of time sitting, and typing.
