The Manager, Fleet Maintenance provides direct support to Fleet Maintenance Vice Presidents by overseeing vendor maintenance at off-site facilities. The Manager, Fleet Maintenance functions as a point of contact for other departments pertaining to aircraft maintenance on FAA Part 91 and Part 135 certificated aircraft. The Manager, Fleet Maintenance is responsible for tracking and communicating aircraft maintenance event progress to Fleet Maintenance Directors, Fleet Planners and Fleet Maintenance Coordinators. The Manager, Fleet Maintenance provides Flight Crews and Fleet Coordinators guidance on aircraft repair solutions and oversees communication with internal contacts and maintenance vendors. The Manager, Fleet Maintenance is the main source of reporting and scheduling data analysis, budget forecasting and aircraft analysis. The Manager, Fleet Maintenance is responsible for compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting through the appropriate process all safety, security or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.
