  • Position Summary: The Account Executive - DOE (AE-DOE) is responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives, from new and existing clients or accounts. The AE-DOE identifies marketplace opportunities, prospect and engage new clients, develop proposals, and manage the sales process.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for all sales and professional service solutions to one or more large, complex Federal Government accounts, both current and prospective. Includes booking, revenue, gross margin, payment, and forecasting accountability.
    • Leverages OEM, partner, and other business relationships to increase business revenue and margin through information technology solutions sales.
    • Assembles and prepares sales handoff packages in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
    • Making actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements.
    • Must have the ability to develop and execute a profitable business plan.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision, developing strategic account plans.
    • Must work closely with vendor partners to ensure customer satisfaction and assist in a timely resolution of order issues.
    • Establish long-term relationships with accounts.
    • Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing customers to increase revenue.
    • Ensures that organizational goods or services consistently meet customer needs.
    • Has a strong understanding of Federal acquisition processes.
    • May lead and direct the work of others.
    • Any other duties needed to drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Values.

    Job Qualifications/Requirements:
    • A 2year college degree is required, or equivalent education and experience, along with advanced technical or managerial credentials.
    • 5 years of progressive experience selling IT solutions to the Department of Defense or security-focused civilian/intelligence agencies.
    • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
    • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills with an emphasis on understanding requirements.
    • Extensive industry contacts.
    • Ability and willingness to travel.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment with Customer Support Engineers, Inside Sales, and other Teammates and partners.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven ability to grow accounts.
    • Ability to develop and execute against strategic goals and initiatives.
    • Ability to balance a large volume of workload with attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines.
    • DOE Q Clearance is desired.
