Who You Are:
The Account Executive is responsible for developing and managing target accounts and related opportunities. Target accounts are typically federal or state agencies, municipal public works entities, utilities, or other entities with high opportunity for the company. Target accounts may be assigned to the Account Executive based on history with the account, identified as a qualified lead from marketing campaigns or through networking activities. The Account Executive oversees delivery of the solution for target customers.
What We Expect From You:
Communication with clients regarding the scope, budget, and timeline of project
Meet with executives to discuss clients’ project goals, progress, and outcomes
Develop budgets and timelines for clients and the company they work for
Report and record all sales activities in a web-based CRM system
Qualify inbound leads and prospects via phone and email
Organize regular client meetings to ensure excellent customer service
Prospect new sales by cold calling businesses
Prepare and present proposals and bids
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients
Collaborate with decision makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver results
Uncover and understand a company’s needs
Attend trade shows and host customer events
What You’ll Need:
Minimum 5 years’ demonstrated sales and account development experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written & oral communication skills
Experience with survey-related industries is preferred
Knowledge of GIS a plus
