Job Description –Inventory Clerk

Job Description:

The Inventory clerk provides clerical and administrative support services to the Inventory Department and Manager. May also provide backup coverage for other team members as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Bay checks of material and maintaining cutsheets.
• Adding in new jobs as they are released.
• Maintaining the drawing release log.
• Advance bill entry.
• Direct importing of Fabsuite files
• Manual inputting of data.
• Facilitate purchasing of raw materials.
• Receiving nuclear material and completing nuclear paperwork.
• Check drawings and make any corrections needed and post correction reports.
• Checking for rolled material and ordering material or CTL pipe.
• Purchase order entry, transfers, invoicing and charging out.
• Assisting in shop calls and finding solutions for those calls.
• Running reports for pulling MTR’S and checking MTR’S, monthly inventory reports and nonconformance reports.
• Pulling tickets, receiving and unreceiving.

Qualifications: ​

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and computer technologies.
• Must be able to multitask and pay attention to detail.
• Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
• Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.
