Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock movement, and analyzing data to optimize inventory processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies - Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels - Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments - Utilize analytics tools, such as Nielsen or SQL, to analyze inventory data and identify trends or areas for improvement - Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize errors - Collaborate with production planning and category management teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly - Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to coordinate inventory movements between warehouses or distribution centers - Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues that arise - Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field preferred - Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role - Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions - Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Nielsen or SQL is highly desirable - Knowledge of inventory management systems and software - Familiarity with production planning processes and category management principles - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication and collaboration abilities We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth. Job Type: Full-time
