Top Inventory Control Executive oversees, plans, and directs all aspects of inventory management policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Top Inventory Control Executive leads inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Top Inventory Control Executive collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Inventory Control Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Top Inventory Control Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Inventory Control   Position Summary: The primary function of Inventory Control is to manage inventory through database and maintain levels required daily to meet distribution demands.   Duties & Responsibilities: Receive and issue finished goods into computer database. Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel. Resolve discrepancies regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. Work with counter staff to Bin locate and properly bar code all products. Coordinate Warehouse transfers between yards, verifying products & quantities. Max Recall all documents daily.   Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired. Minimize inventory breakage and shrinkage through monitoring. Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights. Prepare and participate in quarterly and yearly physical inventories. Assisting Counter sales staff with walk in sales & phone call orders.   Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of related work experience Strong Microsoft office skills Demonstrated knowledge of Inventory Control   Core Competencies: Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity. Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.   Required Cognitive Skills: Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks. Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines and ongoing projects.  Must be able to multitask. Must be able to receive and analyze information. Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
