Be familiar with Naval Aviation Supply System as it applies to Organizational level maintenance.
Must have the ability to acquire working knowledge of all areas listed below under Essential Duties and Accountabilities to facilitate exceptional logistics support.
May be required to handle hazardous materials in performance of assigned duties.
Must be knowledgeable in manual inventory control operations during periods of system unavailability.
Must be able to operate a computer remote terminal, copy machine, fax and related mechanized equipment.
Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language.
Coordinate the maintenance of inventory logs and files.
Ensure material, supplies and equipment are requisitioned in accordance with approved property control procedures.
Establish and maintain appropriate inventory control records and files.
Conduct inventory control data entry.
Perform technical research of inventory discrepancies and take corrective action as required. Initiate inventory control correspondence and related reports.
Maintain inventories and records.
Initiate disposal and turn-in actions.
Conduct receipt / DTO processing.
Coordinate the disposal of obsolete records and files.
Conduct required inventories.
Perform inventory control audits and initiate adjustments as necessary.
Provide any inventory control data requested by the government in a timely manner.
Ensure security of supply branch spaces and related proprietary documents.
Maintain cleanliness of the work center and your assigned work area.
When qualified, may be required to operate a forklift or other GSE.
Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract, facilities and job assignment.
Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.
Compile data and initiate timely submission of required reports.
Document work accomplished on government and company electronic and / or manual Information Systems. Pursuant to the specific provisions of the CBA, at the discretion of management, may be requested to perform the duties of Lead.
Assist in ensuring the safety, security, inventory and preservation of Government owned and Company owned equipment.
Perform other related duties within the job classification.
Must have four (4) years documented hands on specialized experience in Department of Defense Inventory Control Procedures (Naval Supply experience preferred).
Must meet any other qualification standard imposed by the government contract not covered by this agreement.

May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds.
