Top Inventory Control Executive oversees, plans, and directs all aspects of inventory management policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Top Inventory Control Executive collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Inventory Control Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Top Inventory Control Executive typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Job Title: Supply Management Planner/ Inventory Control Specialist
Job Location: Waterloo, IA-50703
Job Duration: 24 months contract
Pay rate: $25.00 per hour without any benefits
Duties:
Service Parts Supply Management Planner:
Day to Day responsibilities include:
· Service Parts planners work, ZMDelinq, & Lights (SAP) to ensure there is on-time delivery for our customers.
· They work closely with the suppliers, buyers, and forecast analysts for their commodity of parts.
· Their performance metrics include FILL, On-Time Delivery, FLASH/Backorder Cycle Time, and Past Due orders.
· Manager looking for candidates with 4 year degree in any business related field or equivalent (3 years) experience. He would consider candidates with 3 or more years of Planner experience.
· Must have MS Office (especially Excel) experience.
· Must be easily trainable and have great verbal and written communication skills.
· SAP experience is a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 per hour
