Investor Account Manager Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Investor Account Manager in our Chattanooga, Tennessee regional office of property management professionals as we continue to expand. This position requires evaluating current and future portfolios and working with potential investors to successfully onboard them as clients.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree is strongly preferred
• 3 years of management experience in property management with direct reports

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively to successfully collaborate across multiple teams and levels; capable of strong individual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams; ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications.
• Flexible, ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments.
• Desire to grow and actively participate in continuing education.
• Proven track record of successful leadership in Property Management.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills to effectively meet portfolio and market goals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including a sufficient understanding of real estate jargon.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team.
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Active Tennessee and Georgia Real Estate Salesperson license required.
• Experience with AppFolio preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

• Be a market and industry expert.
• Be able to successfully collaborate amongst multiple departments, externally, and with your internal team on a daily basis.
• Act with a sense of urgency, professionalism, and always uphold a high standard of ethics.
• Provide efficient and accurate flow of communication to and from the property owner(s)/investor(s). Ensure decisions are made in the best interest of the owner(s)/investor(s) while staying in accordance with company guidelines.
• Evaluate current and future portfolios with industry experience to provide owner(s)/investor(s) with quality professional opinions.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of your portfolio and the portfolios within your office.
• Work with potential investors to pitch them our services and successfully onboard them as clients.
• Integrate new business within our maintenance, project management, sales, and property management teams.

Work Environment: Position is primarily located in a well-lit office environment.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, telephone, calculators, etc.

Mental/Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is primarily sitting at a desk utilizing a computer.
