Position Responsibilities:
We can be flexible on the specific role and responsibilities of this position. Depending on the candidate's interests, capabilities and qualifications they could be responsible for performing field measurements, property corner recovery, line marking, setting stakes and other related field work tasks or maybe they could be responsible for research, CAD drafting, writing legal descriptions and other related office work, or maybe a mix of both. We would work the individual candidate and find the right overall fit.
Preferred Qualifications:
Below is a list of preferred qualifications but we are open to hiring a candidate at almost any level of experience. So, whether you just graduated from school, have been doing land surveying your whole life or you fall somewhere in between we would encourage you to reach out to us to discuss this position.
- Have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Land Surveying or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Have experience using robotic total stations, data collectors and GNSS systems.
- Can interpret property descriptions.
- Can understand construction plans.
- Have experience using AutoCAD.
