Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BY LEVEL:

• Manage the lifecycle of knowledge and knowledge articles.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining the knowledge artifacts of the practice.
• Plans and prepares the technical data for knowledge articles.
• Produces knowledge documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems.
• Interprets engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures and to understand and blend large quantities of computer-related information.
• Research highly technical subject matter, organizes information from multiple sources, and expresses technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers and inputs within the Knowledge Management Database.
• Analyzes requirements, develops source material, consults engineering and technical staff and works with editors, illustrators and the like in preparing knowledge articles.
• Ensures adherence to specifications and knowledge process.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
• ITIL V4
• IAT Level I
• Microsoft Suite

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY LEVEL:

• III: 6 – 9 Years 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:

• Sitting for long periods
• Standing for long periods
• Ambulate throughout an office
• Ambulate between several buildings
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
• Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 25 pounds
• Travel by land or air transportation 15 %
