Top Litigation Executive oversees all litigation related to an organization and ensures maximum protection of the organization's legal rights. Acts as a liaison between outside attorneys and in-house staff. Being a Top Litigation Executive directs cases through litigation cycle, reviews new files for coverage and liability issues, and develops a cost effective defense strategy. Consults with senior management to resolve issues and decide settlements. Additionally, Top Litigation Executive requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to top management. The Top Litigation Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Ideal candidate must know and be responsible for the P & L and must be highly experienced with a manufacturing role. It's preferred for a candidate that has experience with plant transformation, building trust and improving culture and morale of a manufacturing plant. This person must have experience with lean manufacturing and holding accountability. Prefer a candidate that has aluminum extrusion experience with a non-union (24/7) facility with at least 500 production/130 salaried employees.
