THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President (VP) who will drive our strategic expansion by independently sourcing and leading significant deal processes from inception to closure. With a proven track record in LMM, founder-led businesses across services, consumer, manufacturing, and distribution sectors, the ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience and a sharp focus on impactful deal-making that aligns with the firm's growth objectives and cultural ethos.
Your role will focus on:
- Strategic Deal Sourcing: Within the first quarter, identify and develop a robust pipeline of LMM opportunities across targeted sectors. Prioritize founder-led businesses with potential for significant value creation and alignment with the firm's investment philosophy.
- Deal Leadership and Execution: Lead the full deal process for major acquisitions.
- Cultural and Team Integration: Integrate new acquisitions into the portfolio, fostering strong, collaborative relationships between the acquired entities and the firm's existing operations. Champion a culture of humility, engagement, and teamwork, mitigating the typical resistance from founder-led entities and ensuring a smooth transition that aligns with values.
- Operational and Strategic Value Creation: Collaborate with portfolio companies to identify and execute on value creation opportunities, driving significant EBITDA growth and operational efficiencies within the first year post-acquisition.
