Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Prepares routine letters to members, subordination agreements as requested, partial lien releases as required and full satisfaction of mortgage releases on liens which are paid in full.
- Provides information regarding mortgage products. Handles inquiries from members and employees regarding the servicing of real estate loans, such as questions relating to payments, insurance, taxes, etc.
- Performs escrow analyses annually & ensures that all insurance coverage and endorsements are properly maintained. Determines that all escrow accounts are current and all escrow is paid in a timely manner.
- File maintains index changes on adjustable-rate loans. Verifies that rate changes are accurate and notices are mailed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for organizing closed real estate files and tracking final titles to ensure they are received in a timely manner.
- Cross sells appropriate credit union products and services.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the department's goals which are created in conjunction with corporate goals.
- Carry out assigned responsibilities with a minimum number of errors according to established department standards.
- Work with Mortgage Services team to ensure compliance with federal regulations and Credit Union policy.
- Provide prompt, informed, professional and accurate service and support to all members and employees.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills:
- Must have basic computation skills to perform escrow analysis and audits.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite.
- Must have good communication skills in order to cross sell products and services effectively.
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
- Must be capable of learning new systems and policies as implemented.
Physical Requirements: Light lifting required.
Work Environment: Prompt regular attendance at the assigned workspace is required.
