OVERVIEW
Works with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party providers to obtain documentation to submit a thorough, accurate, loan package to the Senior Processor. The position is responsible to provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related task for our Logan branch.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage a timeline on all assigned files, ensuring timely receipt of all required documents, following up with appropriate parties.
· Order and review all third-party documentation, including credit checks, title reports, appraisals, tax transcripts, verification of employments.
· Updates and verifies accuracy of data inputted into system.
· Provides status updates to Loan Officers and Senior Processors.
· Stays current with federal and state regulations and industry guidelines.
· Works with Senior Processor and Loan Officer to complete any other tasks needed.
· Answers and screens incoming phone calls to the appropriate individuals and departments. Provides basic company information as needed.
· Greet customers and handle inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
· Responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking office supplies.
· Maintains branch office common areas.
· Performs basic clerical duties that include filing, faxing, scanning, photocopying and collating.
· All other duties as assigned by branch manager
QUALIFICATIONS
· High School diploma or equivalent required
· 1-2 years mortgage processing experience preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Professional appearance and attitude
· Strong organizational skills
· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
· Position will often be in a busy office environment. The ability to multitask is essential.
· May require the ability to sit, stand and walk around for extended periods of time
· May require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds
