Job Overview
As a Store Manager, you will take charge of our retail operations, driving optimal sales and profitability while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Your leadership will be pivotal in crafting an exceptional shopping experience for our customers and nurturing a collaborative environment for our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate an inviting atmosphere for customers, delivering outstanding service and support.
- Successfully complete the Management Training Program to refine your management skills.
- Recruit and develop a qualified Assistant Manager, alongside effectively training other team members.
- Consult with your District Manager to address personnel or operational challenges, and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain inventory shrinkage at or below 2.5% of annual sales, taking corrective action should it exceed 3.5% over consecutive periods.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and foster positive relationships with local law enforcement to bolster store security.
- Create and oversee weekly employee schedules, ensuring compliance with the allocated payroll budget.
- Assign responsibilities and provide training to staff in accordance with company procedures.
- Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures effectively, ensuring team adherence.
- Accurately transmit payroll information and maintain well-organized records.
- Manage merchandise effectively, ensuring a balanced and organized inventory throughout the store.
- Keep the District Manager apprised of inventory challenges, sales performance, and vendor shipment issues.
- Oversee store cash funds and sales receipts, ensuring adherence to cash handling protocols.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding store sales, records, and sensitive company information.
- Exhibit positive leadership qualities that inspire employee morale and foster a professional environment.
- Exhibit flexibility and readiness to undertake additional tasks as directed by your District Manager.
Required Skills

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; an AS/AA degree is preferred along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in store management or a related field.
