Responsibilities:
Functions as the communication/front office coordinator for the clinic.
Ensures patient demographics and insurance information is maintained and correct during the appointment and checkin process.
Communicates basic financial policies pertaining to insurance coverage and copayments.
Able to help in referrals and pre-authorizations as required.
Handles multiple projects and tasks throughout the day. Must have strong computer skills and be comfortable exercising deductive reasoning on digital platforms.
Familiarity with Kareo is a bonus.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
