Position: Service Design Intern (REMOTE)

Position Overview

Join our fast-growing team!  You will help drive intelligent, insightful, human-centered service design solutions that involve technology, AI, and the science of people at work. 

You Will:

• Draw from empathy as you understand Vee's business model as we solve people problems in organizations - uncovering user needs 
• Apply human-centered design process for  service design project work and deliverables
• Help conceive, design, develop, test, and launch service experiences, applying systems thinking to experiences that engage people in meaningful ways
• Help elicit user pain points and latent desires, as well as design opportunities, during human-centered design research, grounding ideas and actionable concepts in user and business needs, design principles, and current and emerging technologies
• Envision and communicate service concepts and ideas using methods & tools that illustrate all components and touchpoints - experience maps, user journeys, service blueprints, diagrams, etc. 
• Work with our Cloud Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science and People Science teams to apply  
• Design end-to-end journey of our products and services, enabling users to achieve their goals, and the business to deliver on our goals and outcome.
• Understand our capabilities in cloud engineering, natural language processing, data visualization, and industrial and organizational psychology
• Translate insights into actionable ideas/design
• Facilitate ideation sessions, prototype concepts

Requirements

• Currently in or just graduated from a Masters program in Service Design or Experience Design 
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Research, UX Design, Visual Design, Prototyping, Business Design and Value Proposition.
• Experience prototyping in and designing with data
• Exceptional communications toolkit enhanced by storytelling to inspire our teams as you frame with user-centered rationale
• Strong collaboration skills - you partner well with others to solve problems and actively incorporate input from various sources
