• Fan selection and design from concept through validation including design analysis and performance calculations, detail drawings and bills of materials.
• Facilitate design reviews, execute testing validation plans, and use virtual tools to predict fan performance for commercial air handlers.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including product management, operations and other engineering teams to determine optimal fan solutions.
• Create and maintain technical engineering documentation for customers and future engineering projects.
• Some overnight travel required, approximately 5%.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent discipline) is required.

• Mechanical design and engineering skills, with practical hands-on hardware experience.
• Ability to select proper modeling and simulation tools, understand outputs, and integrate information to make design decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate up, down, and across the organization.
• Knowledge of Heating, Ventilation & Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC/R) fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, project management and problem-solving skills.

Annual Compensation Range is $51,000 to $105,000.  Disclaimer:  This salary range is based on US national averages.  Actual pay could be a result of seniority/experience level, merit and geographic location where the actual work is performed.
