What you will be doing?
As a Customer Development Executive, you will be responsible for opening up opportunities and growing sales of Unilever Ice Cream (specifically, the Wall’s, Carte D’or and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream brands) and Unilever Food Solutions products (e.g. Hellmann's Mayonnaise & Colman's Mustard) within a range of locations, including (but not limited to): leisure centres/swimming pools; cafes/kiosks in the park; soft plays; big visitor attractions such as zoos/museums; corner shops & independent convenience stores; and hotels & restaurants.
As part of this role, you will work with a portfolio of existing customers. However, you will also be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities (this will involve cold calling), negotiating contracts and joint business plans.
You will regularly review performance of ice cream & food solutions products within the sites that you have opened up and work closely with the on-site decision makers to increase sales.
You will also develop and maintain commercial relationships with Head Office (Unilever) contacts, agreeing ranging and visibility solutions and then clearly communicate these execution requirements to individual customer sites.
