Product Support Manager

P:OSITION: :S:UMMARY:
Manage and perform operations and services required to conduct and develop the International sales goals of the factory. Provide the group sales organizations the product information and commercial tools needed to promote the ACE product line. Supervise Import/Export Traffic Coordinator and Product Support Engineer. Manage the creation of product manuals.

E:SSENTIAL: :D:UTIES: AND: :R:ESPONSIBILITIES: :include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop and coordinate procedures and tools to enable the sales organizations to prepare the quotations required.

• Assist the sales organizations on daily operational activities for price/delivery/technical inquires.

• In conjunction with TLD sales forecast, communicate to manufacturing such line items to be put into production based on such forecast.

• Review lost order reports to determine as appropriate corrective action to minimize such lost orders for future opportunities. Prepare reports for C.O.O to quantify lost orders and prescribe corrective action.

• Serve as liaison between the various sales offices to resolve issues in order to maintain the enthusiasm to promote the ACE product line.

• Negotiate transportation contracts in order to maintain competitiveness of the product lines on a landed cost basis. Direct the activities of the Import/Export Traffic Coordinator to assure smooth operation of transportation-related activities and compliance with U.S. Trade Policy.

• Produce and maintain the product data sheets used by the sales organizations.

• Produce and maintain the product manuals used by the customers.

• Contact customers in conjunction with the sales organizations to stay abreast of issues at the customer level to assure understanding and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Visit the sales organizations to maintain specific market knowledge and maintain personal relationships to assure good relations to maximize sales.

• Other assignments are assigned by the C.O.O.

Q:UALIFICATIONS: AND :E:XPERIENCE:

• Expertise with technical sales management and marketing.

• Strong decision making and problem solving skills

• Leadership skills and ability manage staff

• Use of BaaN ERP system is a plus.

O:THER: :S:KILLS: AND :A:BILITIES:

• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.

• Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; basic knowledge of Desktop Publishing.

• CIT: Support and promote continuous improvement within the company.
