    Our client is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer-Diver for our Santa Cruz, California office.
    Candidate must be willing to travel on short notice and for extended periods.

    Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    Supervisory Responsibilities
    Supervise inspection and reporting efforts for underwater and above-water inspections of waterfront/marine structures and bridges.

    Duties/Responsibilities
    • Underwater inspection of waterfront / marine structures and bridges
    • Preparation of reports and other professional documents
    • Engineering analysis and design
    • Construction drawings and specifications
    • Regulatory permitting
    • Operation and maintenance of inspection and diving equipment
    • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, fellow SEI employees, and others for job-related activities
    Required Skills/Abilities
    • California PE (Civil or Structural - required) or ability to obtain within 6 months
    • ADCI commercial diver (required)
    • ADCI Dive supervisor (preferred)
    • NHI UW Bridge Inspector (required)
    • NHI Bridge Inspection Team Leader (preferred)
    • All dive certifications should be current including dive physical, CPR/FA, & Emergency Oxygen
    • Must be able to obtain a DBIDS and TWIK card

    Education and Experience
    • BS in Civil or Structural Engineering (required)
    • 3-5 years experience in waterfront/marine underwater inspection
