The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Analytics Executive. The Analytics Executive reports to the Head of Client Insights & Commercial Lending Product Management and is focused on using advanced analytics including AI/ML to identify and solve business problems across Commercial Banking to drive efficiency, client delight, risk reduction and innovation. The ideal candidate will have proven track record in applying advanced analytics in a financial services/regulated industry, product management and an ability to work with a multitude of stake holders to design, coordinate build and delivery of these products.
Job Expectations:
Develop product vision, roadmap and requirements to apply advanced analytics, inclusive of AI/ML strategies, for driving Commercial Banking transformation.
Build and lead a small team of professionals that have expertise and experience in data science including AI/ML and product management.
Work with modeling COE team, engineering teams, and other stake holders across CB and Wells Fargo to execute and deliver the products
Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives while developing a culture of talent development
Evangelize Wells Fargo’s capabilities in analytics inside and outside of the bank through presentations, attendance at industry conferences, participation in reputed advisory boards, and thought leadership articles/ papers in leading industry and domain publications.
Required Qualifications:
8 years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5 years in AI/ML product development experience
4 years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience in a large, complex financial services firm
Product management and process design experience
Prior experience and understanding of financial services industry regulation related to data and analytics
Superior analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Experience managing complex projects in a large enterprise environment
Ability to facilitate large cross-functional meetings and negotiating priorities, solutions, outcomes
